For our Pink Day we made our own Pink Biscuits

Shortbread Biscuits
Ingredients
125g butter
55g caster sugar
180g plain flour
Preparation method
Heat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas 5.
Beat the butter and the sugar together until smooth.
Stir in the flour to get a smooth paste. Turn on to a floured work surface and gently roll out until the paste is 1cm/½in thick.
Cut into rounds or fingers and place onto a baking tray.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until pale golden-brown. Set aside to cool on a wire rack.


To ice biscuits: Mix icing sugar with a few drops of colouring and enough water to make a stiff icing. Decorate!

Growing an avocado

We decided to try to grow our own avocado plant from the stone.




We have been looking at this story book this week.


We decided to taste some of the fruits Handa had in her basket.
